I have tried all of the gear available on the market and I coach as well so i have gear for my teams. The Mizuno Gear seams to be a favorite among players due to its lightweight design with great paddingThey have some cheaper mizuno gear but this set is top notch. I don't know anyone who has worn it that doesn't love it. All my sons started with easton sets and 2 of them now prefer this gear over easton because its more comfortable.One thing that is unique to mizuno samurai set is the shin guards have an extra strap on the bottom of the foot protector that runs underneath the players cleat. Some kids like this feature, others don't. I prefer it to the easton gear for this feature because it prevents their shin guards from shifting around when they are sliding around on their knees as much. If you are looking for some great gear for your kid or young adult you can't go wrong with this.
