Refund policy

At Williams Athletics, our goal is to ensure that every customer receives their order in brand new, flawless condition - just as you would expect when opening your own package. We’re proud to offer high-quality gear, and we take the responsibility of delivering that standard seriously.
We understand that sometimes things don’t work out. While we gladly accept returns and will help make things right when a mistake occurs, this policy is in place to ensure we protect every customer’s experience — including yours — as well as the integrity of our team. That’s why we require all returned items to be in the same pristine condition in which they were shipped. We cannot resell anything with signs of wear, use, or tampering, and we do not bend these rules.
By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below. We appreciate your understanding.
1. Non-Returnable Items
We do not accept returns on the following items under any circumstances:

Items showing any signs of wear, use, or misuse, including but not limited to stains, odors (including body odor, smoke, or chemical scent), dirt, makeup, sweat, bodily fluids, pet hair, deodorant marks, or any evidence of laundering or tampering

Any item that has come in contact with skin in a manner that renders it unsanitary or unsuitable for resale (e.g., worn compression apparel, undergarments, sports bras, support cups, protective gear, mouthpieces, socks, leggings, swimwear, headwear, headbands, or hygiene-sensitive apparel)

Customized, personalized, or made-to-order items, including sublimated uniforms, numbered jerseys, or embroidered merchandise

Clearance, “Final Sale,” or otherwise marked non-returnable products

Equipment that has been used, opened, or assembled, including but not limited to bats (unwrapped or handled), gloves, helmets, cleats, or padded gear
-
Footwear returned with soiled soles, debris (e.g., grass, turf pellets, rocks), scuffs, wear marks, or damaged/altered boxes

Any item missing original retail packaging, hang tags, stickers, labels, instructions, hardware, or accessories

Any item returned with signs of deodorant, fragrance, spray, or artificial scent application
We take hygiene, cleanliness, and product integrity seriously. If any product is returned in a condition deemed unsanitary, used, or in violation of our resale standards, it will be immediately rejected, returned to the sender at their expense, and no refund or credit will be issued.
2. General Return Eligibility

Items must be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund to the original payment method

Items returned within 45 days are eligible for store credit only

Items must be in new, unworn, unused condition, with all tags and original packaging intact

All returns must be submitted through through the "Request return" on the specific order in your customer account (account.williamsathletics.com/orders).
If you do not have a customer account, please email us at orders@williamsathletics.com and our team will assist you with the return process.
Unauthorized returns may be denied or subject to penalties (see Section 7).
3. Return Shipping Responsibility
Unless your item is defective, damaged, or sent in error by us:

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs

We strongly recommend using a trackable service and retaining your receipt

Williams Athletics is not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit
If the return is approved due to our error (wrong item, manufacturing defect at delivery), a prepaid shipping label will be issued at our discretion.
4. Refunds & Store Credit

Refunds are issued to the original payment method or as store credit, per your selection during the return process

Refunds may take 3–7 business days after we receive and inspect the item

Store credit is issued immediately upon approval of the return and does not expire

Original shipping costs are non-refundable
5. Size or Color Adjustments
While we do not offer traditional exchanges due to logistics, you may return an item for store credit and use that credit to place a new order in your preferred size or color.

6. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect:

Report the issue within 7 days of delivery using our Shopify-powered Return Portal

Upload clear photos of the issue for evaluation
Once verified, we will offer one of the following based on availability:

A prepaid return label with a corrected replacement, or
-
A full refund or store credit — your choice
Please note: Some items, like bats and certain performance equipment, carry manufacturer warranties that must be handled directly with the manufacturer. If the product has been used, we cannot evaluate or validate its condition and therefore cannot process warranty-related claims internally.
7. Return Violations & Restocking Fees
To protect the quality of our inventory and the expectations of our customers, we enforce the following penalties:

Unauthorized Returns: Items returned outside of the Return Portal may be subject to a 50% restocking fee or denied altogether

Late Returns: Approved returns must be scanned by the carrier within 10 days. Delays may incur a 10% restocking fee. Returns shipped more than 30 days after approval will be returned to sender

Used/Damaged Goods: Any return that fails inspection due to wear, damage, or missing parts will be rejected and shipped back at your cost
8. Manufacturer Warranties
Many branded products — including aluminum and composite bats — include manufacturer warranties. If a product fails due to a manufacturing defect after use, it is your responsibility to file a warranty claim directly with the brand.

Williams Athletics cannot alter or override manufacturer warranty decisions

Wood, demo, or unwrapped bats are final sale unless otherwise stated in the product description
